Jan 04, 2020 Microsoft Powerpoint 2019 VL 16.32 for mac is an all-in-one program for making impressive presentations. There are many features that make the new PowerPoint attractive. Presenter View automatically adapts to the projection settings and can be used on a single monitor. In PowerPoint for macOS, start Presenter view from the Slide Show Presenter View button. On Windows, make sure the Use Presenter View box is ticked on the Slide Show tab. Then start the presentation. Once your presentation starts, you might need to Swap Displays. Make sure that you show your presentation screen and not the notes view.

Presenter mode
Unfortunately, this is a known issue we've seen with PowerPoint 2011 and other older versions on macOS Mojave. Microsoft is no longer supporting this version of PowerPoint on the new OS and so your only option would be to update to a newer version such as PowerPoint 2016 or newer. This will allow our importer to begin working again. Turn on the Presenter mode toggle in the live feature Settings pane while giving a presentation. This will unmute your microphone for the duration of the presentation. If you are the conversation host, turning on Presenter mode will also mute other participants to prevent interruptions during the presentation.
Presenter Mode allows you to view your speaker notes while sharing slides with ClickShare, either using the ClickShare Button (Base Unit with firmware v1.9.2.12 or above) or with the ClickShare Desktop App (v4.1.0.34 or above) which can be downloaded and installed (without the need for admin rights) here: www.clickshare.app. Presenter mode works with PowerPoint both on Windows and macOS computers.
NoteUsing Presenter Mode does not require the installation of the ClickShare Extension Pack containing the Extended Desktop Driver.
Interesting to know: When sharing a Slide Show using Share an application you will be reminded of the Presenter Mode functionality through a useful notification. This notification remains on screen for 10 seconds and is only shown the first five times your share a Slide Show.
Presenter Mode on Windows
To share your slides and use Presenter Mode on Windows, simply follow these steps:
- Open your PowerPoint and start your Slide Show. This will show your presentation full screen on your PC.
- With the ClickShare Desktop app open, select Share an applicationNoteIf the installed ClickShare Desktop App version is 4.3.0.8 or above
Click the share application icon in the GUI. - Select the PowerPoint Slide Show to share to the meeting room display
- On the full screen presentation, right-click on the slide and select Show Presenter View to see speaker notes while sharing the Slide Show to the meeting room display
Presenter Mode on macOS
To share your slides and use Presenter Mode on Windows, simply follow these steps:
- Open your PowerPoint and start your Slide Show
- With the ClickShare Desktop app open, select Share an application

Click the share application icon in the GUI. - Select the PowerPoint Slide Show to share to the meeting room display
- Right-click on the slide and select Use Presenter View to see speaker notes while sharing the Slide Show to the meeting room display
